QUESTION: Challenge 4: What is your biggest pet peeve?

I suppose my biggest pet peeve would be people who talk too much when I'm absorbed in something, and that's about the only one I can think of because, I must admit, I don't pay very much attention to most people on any given day. In some ways, it's easier—people can't irritate me as easily, and they can't hurt me as easily either.

There are only a few people who can get past that. The captain, because he demands no less from every person he speaks to, and River, because I could never give her any less. Both of them can cut through everything I use to keep the rest of the world out and force me to see them, really see them. I'm not saying that means anything—heaven knows I don't like the captain better than the others here on the ship—but there it is.
