Broken Cup

TITLE: Broken Cup
RATING: G
QUESTION: Would you be able to kill someone to save your own life? To save someone you loved?
CHARACTER: River

Not for this life, never. Who kills for the broken teacup? (Simon does) Not me. To be burned, left, even taken back. Can't kill for that, can't kill for self. For them, yes. Instincts return, for them, making me more, no, less, but not. Not. For them, I'm not, and then I am. For her, trembling in fear, for him, gasping in the cold. Simon. Always for Simon, anyone for Simon. It's only fair. Never know when that broken teacup might save your life. Wouldn't matter if it weren't fair, but it is. It is because love should be returned, should be given, poured out like the tea when the china cracks. It is.
